The world lost a truly remarkable soul as Judge Frank Caprio, famously known as the “nicest judge in the world,” passed away at the age of 88 after battling pancreatic c@ncer.

Just a day before his demise, he shared a heartfelt video from his hospital bed, asking for prayers, showing the same humility and warmth he was loved for.

Judge Caprio was the Chief Judge of the Providence Municipal Court in Rhode Island, where he became famous worldwide for his heartwarming courtroom moments.

Videos of him showing compassion, understanding, and sometimes forgiving fines went viral on social media. Millions admired how he treated everyone with dignity, giving people second chances and spreading hope.

Beyond his public fame, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

His life was a shining example of how one person’s kindness can touch countless lives. Though he is gone, his legacy lives on in the acts of goodness and compassion he inspired in Providence and around the world.
